Team collaboration is available on the Team plan. Invite colleagues by email so they can access your shared workspaces, scan history, and reports.
Prerequisites
- An active Team plan subscription (including free trial)
- Available seats — Team plans include 10 seats (see Seat limits)
- The invitee's email address
Free and Monthly Monitoring plans are limited to 1 seat (the account owner). Upgrade from Billing (/settings/billing) or the pricing page.
Send an invite
Open Team settings
Sign in and go to Team in the sidebar (
/settings/team), or open Billing → Team from the command palette (⌘K / Ctrl+K).Enter an email and click Invite
Type your teammate's email address and click Invite. Parsivex sends an email with a secure link to accept the invitation.
The seat usage meter shows how many seats are in use, including pending invites that have not been accepted yet.
Track pending invites
Pending invites appear under Pending invites with an expiration date. Invites expire 7 days after they are sent. You can Revoke a pending invite to free the seat before it is accepted.
Accept invite flow
When a teammate receives the invite email, they follow this flow:
Click the link in the email
The link opens
/accept-invite?token=…in Parsivex. Each invite has a unique token tied to the invited email address.Sign in or create an account
If they are not signed in, Parsivex redirects to login and returns them to the invite page afterward. The Parsivex account email must match the invited email address.
Join the team workspace
After accepting, Parsivex adds them to your account and switches them into your team's default workspace. They land on the dashboard ready to view scans and reports.
If the signed-in user's email does not match the invite, acceptance fails with "Invite email does not match your account." Ask the invitee to sign in with the correct email or send a new invite to their Parsivex account address.
Seat limits
Seat limits by plan:
| Plan | Seats |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Monthly Monitoring | 1 |
| Team Plan | 10 |
A seat counts as:
- Each user who has accepted an invite and joined the account
- Each pending invite that has not been accepted or revoked
When you reach the limit, the invite form is blocked and the seat meter shows you are at capacity. Revoke unused pending invites or remove members (contact support) to free seats.
What invited members can access
Invited members join your account, not a single workspace in isolation. Once they accept:
| Access | Details |
|---|---|
| All workspaces | Switch between every workspace on the account using the workspace switcher in the app sidebar |
| Scans & reports | View scan history, open reports, and run new scans (subject to plan features and monthly scan limits) |
| Settings | Manage integrations and workspace preferences for workspaces they switch into |
| Team features | Use remediation scripts, anomaly alerts, Slack alerts, and other features included in your Team plan |
Billing and plan limits (scans per month, AWS connections, workspaces) apply at the account level. All members share the same plan features and usage limits.
There are no separate admin vs. member roles today — every seat has equal access to the account's workspaces and data.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| "Requires Team Plan" when inviting | Upgrade to Team from Billing (/settings/billing) |
| Seat limit reached | Revoke pending invites or contact support if you need more than 10 seats |
| "A pending invite already exists" | An invite was already sent to that email — revoke it or wait for acceptance |
| "This user is already a member" | They have already joined the account |
| Invite expired | Send a new invite from Team (/settings/team) |
| Invite email not received | Check spam; confirm the email address; ask an admin to revoke and resend |
