Every Parsivex account starts on Free. You can connect one AWS account, run one scan per month, and see whether Parsivex finds meaningful savings — without entering a credit card.
What Free includes
| Capability | On Free? |
|---|---|
| Connect 1 AWS account | ✓ |
| Run 1 scan per month | ✓ |
| See total potential monthly savings | ✓ |
| View scan status and history | ✓ |
| See how many findings were detected (count only) | ✓ |
After your first successful scan, the dashboard shows your Potential monthly savings total and a findings count. That is enough to decide whether upgrading is worth it.
What is gated on Free
These capabilities require a paid plan:
| Gated capability | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Full findings list | See which specific AWS resources are wasting money, with severity and savings per finding |
| Finding details | Resource IDs, descriptions, and evidence behind each recommendation |
| Dismiss / snooze / reopen | Manage finding lifecycle so intentional spend is not re-flagged |
| Remediation scripts | Copy ready-to-run AWS CLI commands to fix issues |
| Recurring scans | Automatic re-scans to catch new waste and track realized savings |
| Email & anomaly alerts | Notifications when new waste or cost spikes appear |
| PDF export | Download a shareable savings report |
| Public report sharing | Generate a link others can view without signing in |
| Realized savings tracking | See savings you have actually captured over time |
On Free, the findings section of your report shows blurred or locked content with an upgrade prompt instead of actionable details.
Public share links never include remediation scripts — regardless of plan. That is a security rule, not a billing gate. See Reports and sharing.
Free tier limits
| Limit | Free allowance |

| AWS accounts | 1 |

Scan usage resets on the first day of each calendar month (UTC). If you used your free scan this month, wait until next month or upgrade to scan again.
